Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an envelope that is highly waterproof against rain or the like and strong by using film-laminated paper and that can be continuously manufactured in an assembly-line system, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: A highly waterproof envelope X1 in which a plurality of sheets 2 the surfaces of which are respectively covered with film sheets F are folded and the edges of their two sides are sealed with film sheets, comprises four sheets that are a second sheet and a third sheet forming an envelope body by their being connected together via a crease and folded along the crease; and first and fourth opposite sheets connected to the outsides of the two sheets and folded toward the inside of the folded envelope body. The bottom side of the envelope body is sealed by joining film sheets covered so as to project from the edges of the four sheets, which correspond to the bottom of the envelope body. In addition, the side edges of the envelope body are folded, and sealed by adhesion of the film sheets covered with the opposite first and fourth sheets.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
