Abstract:
To provide an anionic electrondeposition coating which allows an easy control of the line for applying the coating to an aluminum construction material, and is especially excellent in weather resistance and scuff resistance, and to provide an electrondeposition coating method therefor.
This anionic electrondeposition coating comprises (A) a vinyl copolymer and (B) an amino resin, wherein the vinyl copolymer is substantially composed of an α,β-ethylenic unsaturated monomer having no hydrogen atom at the α-position and has hydroxyl groups and carboxyl groups in its side chains.
