Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable high speed feed of strip-like workpieces by alternately feeding the workpieces by means of a pair of movable plates.
SOLUTION: This feed mechanism comprises a pair of movable plates 1, 2 having feed pins 3 concurrently serving also as pilot pins adapted to be inserted in pilot holes 6 formed in workpieces, and provided on opposed surfaces of the plates 1, 2, and a driving means for carrying out feed motion of both movable plates 1, 2 in antiphase in the workpiece feed direction, and for drive of both movable plates 1, 2 in a same phase in a direction in which the feed pin 3 is inserted in the pilot holes 6 and then removed from the pilot holes 6. The pair of movable plates 1, 2 alternately feed the workpieces 5.
