Abstract:
PURPOSE: To put close an aperture which is always accompanied with the manufacture of a speed reduction mechanism by providing the mechanism with a central axis having a cylindrical supporting surface for reacting a counteraction by engaging the center with a supplemental cylindrical supporting surface mounted on a radial type planet gear supporting device, and also providing an elasticity for constantly containing the tooth of the plant gears with each of the tooth of the gear of a flange. CONSTITUTION: A fixing flange 1 is fixed with the frame of the seat portion of a seat by a fixing member 2. The fixing member 2 is arranged by the space of 120 deg.C angle between each other, and a projection is formed at the place of 60 deg. angle against the fixing member 2 by the same space of 120 deg. angle between each other, the fixing flange 1 is perfectly held to the frame of the seat portion. When the fixing flange 1 is fixed with the hinge speed reduction mechanism and the position of a seat back is made so as to change the angle against the seat portion, a controlling axis 9 is driven. And then a pinion 10 is driven. This motions is transmitted to a double planet gears 15, a movable flange 3 is rotated against the fixing flange 1. A reduction rate is determined by the selection of the gear number of each gear. A force applied to the plant gear 15 by the planet gear-supporting device 20 consisting of spring steel is continuously supported in the central cylindrical zone 16 of the planet gear.
