To prevent rattlings of first and second hinge members in a hinge device generating a click sound when the first and the second hinge members are turned to specific positions.
In this hinge device wherein a fixed hinge member (first hinge member) 20 and a turning hinge member (second hinge member) 30 are connected through a hinge shaft 40 so as to be turnable, and a movable member 50 is turned at a specific extremely small angle by a turn energizing means (not shown in the figure), when both hinge members 20, 30 are turned to the specific positions, thus the click sound is generated, one end of the hinge shaft 40 is press-fitted to an insertion hole 23 of the fixed hinge member 20 to generate the frictional resistance of a specific magnitude between the inner peripheral face of the hinge shaft 40 and the inner peripheral face of the insertion hole 23 so as to be turnable. The other end of the hinge shaft 40 is fitted and fixed to the insertion hole 32 of the turning hinge member 30.
