Abstract:
To allow a hinge device for rotatably connecting a male member and a female member to maintain the rotational position of the male member relative to the female member at a specified position.SOLUTION: A hinge device 100, including a male member 20, a resin collar 30, a pin 40, and a female member 70, is configured such that a cylindrical part 22 of the male member 20 is formed at a cylindrical inner surface 26 with a gap 28 that extends longitudinally and is depressed radially outward, the resin collar 30 has a projection 32 protruding radially from the outer circumference and engaging the gap 28 of the cylindrical part 22, and the inner diameter of the resin collar 30 is smaller than the outer diameter of the pin 40 to the extent that a specified rotational sliding resistance is created between the inner surface 33 of the resin collar 30 and the outer surface of the pin 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
