Abstract:
To provide a hinge for a folding door capable of stably holding the door flush when the folding door is in a closed state.SOLUTION: In the hinge for the folding door: a first wing 1 and a second wing 2 are coupled in a rotatable manner around a common rotation axis O1; a slide plate 15 abutted to the second wing 2 is held on the first wing 1 in a forward/backward movable manner; and an eccentric cam 16 having a shaft part 16a rotatably supported on the first wing 1 is assembled such that a cylindrical cam part 16b eccentric to the shaft part 16a slidably contacts an internal face of a long hole 15c of the slide plate 15. When the eccentric cam 16 is rotated, a position in which the cam part 16b is abutted on the internal face of the long hole 15c is changed, causing the slide plate 15 to move forward/backward so that the first wing 1 and the second wing 2 relatively rotate. In such a configuration, an unintended rotation of the eccentric cam 16 during use is hardly generated, and a door 10 of the folding door can be stably held flush.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
