Abstract:

To provide a hinge for a piano capable of positively preventing the slip-off of a shaft core even when the piano is used for a long period of time, and to provide a method of manufacturing such a hinge for the piano efficiently at a low cost.

This hinge 1 for the piano comprises a pair of blade parts 2, 2 each having a plurality of curled bearing parts 5 spaced from each other, at one end so that the plurality of bearing parts 5 of both blade parts are engaged with each other, and the shaft core 3 inserted in the plurality of bearing parts 5 of the pair of blade parts 2, 2 to turnably connect the pair of blade parts 2. The outer peripheral surface of the shaft core 3 is provided with protrusions 6 engaged in a state of biting into the inner peripheral surface of at least one of the plurality of bearing parts 5 of one of the pair of blade parts 2, 2.
