Title:
HINGE STRUCTURE OF FLIP-UP COUNTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2007315013
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a hinge structure of a flip-up top board, which avoids projection of a hinge from an upper surface of the top board, does not form a gap between the top board and a fixed counter, and is free from the risk of fall of the top board due to its self weight and generation of an impact or noise.

The hinge 30 is set up such that a pivoting portion at which arms provided for a pair of hinge plates are pivoted on each other, is arranged at a location that allows the pairing hinge plates to be folded on each other. The top board 10 and the fixed counter have the hinge plates fixed thereto, respectively, such that the top board 10 is rotatably connected to the fixed counter. When the hinge is folded, the pivoting portion is located above the hinge and doest not protrude from the upper surface of the top board. Further a skirt plate extending from a side of the top board is formed like a cylinder about a pivoting shaft. The skirt plate has arm advancing grooves cut away at locations where the arms closer to the fixed counter abut, and therefore when the top board bounces upward, the arms closer to the fixed counter enter the grooves to abut on groove bottoms as stoppers, respectively.
