Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize satisfactory opening and closing by allowing a user to have a touch, and to realize a hinge structure which can be made compact.
SOLUTION: A hinge 16 for connecting main body parts 10 and 11 of a mobile telephone transmitter/receiver for making them foldable is constituted by integrally inserting a coil spring 24, non-circular washer 22, compression coil spring 26, first cam member 25, second cam member 27, and press button 28 into a core bar having a flange 21a in a passage normalized by supporting parts 17, 18, 19, and 20. The first cam member 25 and the second cam member 27 are engaged and cooperately operated according to the opening and closing operation of the main body parts 10 and 11 so that when the main body parts 10 and 11 are present in a closed position, the main body parts 10 and 11 are maintained in the closed position. When the press button 28 is pressed for moving the main body parts 10 and 11 from the closed position, and then the main body parts 10 and 11 are moved to the partial open position, a torque is applied to the main body parts 10 and 11 so that the main body parts 10 and 11 can be present at the complete open position.
