To provide a hinged cap structured to guide a flow of molten resin from an engaging tube into an outer peripheral tube and into a space for forming a hinge and an upper lid by forming an auxiliary flow path on a die forming a cap body of a molding die.

The hinged cap is molded of the molding die consisting of an upper die and a lower die, and comprises a spout tube, the engaging tube fitted over a container mouth tube and having an outer tube and the outer peripheral tube having the hinge connected with its outer peripheral upper part, wherein the lower ends of the outer tube and the outer peripheral tube are coupled via a coupling piece provided on an opposite side to the hinge and a plurality of breakable weak pieces provided at intervals, and an upper lid connected via the hinge. The auxiliary flow path is bored on a tubular part forming an outer periphery of the outer tube and an inner periphery of the outer peripheral tube of the engaging tube of the cap body on the upper mold. The auxiliary flow path forms a flow path piece extending from the outer peripheral surface of the outer tube on the side of the hinge to the inner peripheral surface of the outer peripheral tube between the outer periphery of the outer tube and the inner periphery of the outer peripheral tube of the cap body.
