To provide a history information collection system for performing the centralized control of the history information of various equipment even when all pieces of equipment are not connected through a network.
A gate device 2 stores partition area information showing a partition area which a user enters by using a gate device 2; and when a user enters a room 10, the gate device 2 writes the partition area information in the IC card 6. When a user uses equipment 5, history information is written in the IC card 6 so as to be associated with the partition area information written by the gate device 2. When the user leaves the room 10, the history information written in the IC card 6 is read by the gate device 2, and transmitted to a history information management server 3. The history information management server 3 stores the transmitted history information, and uses the stored history information.
