Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hoist which can inhibit temperature increase of a driving part while keeping rigidity of a housing, and to provide an elevator including the hoist.SOLUTION: A hoist 100 is provided with exposure parts 26 each having an exposure hole 25 which exposes a motor rotor 62 at a side wall part 21 of a housing 2. Further, the hoist 100 is provided with ventilation parts 7, each of which is coupled to an edge part of the exposure part 26 to cover the exposure hole 25 and has vent holes 73. The ventilation part 7 has the vent holes 73 at both axial end parts of a main shaft 3. An interior part of the ventilation part 7 is provided with a partition part 76 which partitions the interior part of the ventilation part 7 into two spaces 7a, 7b in an axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
