Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a large float-up force to enable stable conveyance with the use of a hoisting system, by allowing jet air to impinge upon the lower surface of a floating plate so that a movable member is floated up by means of the floating plate. CONSTITUTION:A movable member 5 is reciprocated on a predetermined conveyor path by means of a linear motor 15 composed of a stator 13 and a secondary induction member 10. During running of the movable member 5 air fed into an air supply duct 1 from an air supply pipe 3 is jetted upward from air jet ports 4 to be allowed to impinge upon the lower surface of a floating plate 6 so that the movable member 5 and a material 9 to be conveyed are floated up. Further, air used for the float-up is in part fed downward through a slit section 2, and thereafter, flows, being guided by a lower section cover 16, and the remaining part of air is allowed to flow into a cover 11 in order to cool the linear motor 15. With this arrangement, a large float-up force may be obtained, and therefore, it is possible to carry out stable conveyance by means of a hoisting system.
