PURPOSE: To provide a hoisting device for a turbine rotor capable of coping with the case that a disturbance occurs and not requiring the resetting of the shift quantity of a balance weight to the optimum value inherent to a turbine rotor when the turbine rotors different in size and weight are hoisted in sequence.
CONSTITUTION: When a turbine rotor 12 is hoisted, the displacement quantities at both ends of the turbine rotor 12 are detected by a displacement sensor 40, the displacement speed is calculated from the displacement quantities by a differentiating unit 46, and the displacement quantities and displacement speed are inputted to a fuzzy computer 48. The fuzzy computer 48 makes a calculation from the control rule and membership function stored in advance based on fuzzy inference and outputs the shift quantity (controlled variable) of a balance weight 32 to a driver 52 via a programmable controller 50. The driver 52 operates a motor 36 based on the shift quantity outputted from the fuzzy computer 48 and moves the balance weight 32 to a prescribed shift position.
