Abstract:
Provided are an elevator shaft partitioning method and an elevator shaft partitioning device that prevent interference with adjacent passageways during installation and removal. The partitioning method comprises a hanging step and an affixing step. The hanging step is a step for hanging a first sheet (11), which is affixed to a first beam (3) on a side thereof facing a first passageway (2), between the first beam (3) and a second beam (3) on the side of the first beam (3) facing the first passageway (2). The affixing step is a step, after the hanging step, for folding a fold (21) in the first sheet (11) so that a fold line extends in a forward-backward direction, and using an anchor (13) to wedge and affix the first sheet (11), along with a second sheet (11), against the side of the second beam (3) facing the first passageway (2). The first beam (3) and the second beam (3) extend forward and backward between the first passageway (2) and a second passageway (2) adjacent to each other on the left and right in an elevator shaft (1) of an elevator. The second beam (3) is below the first beam (3). The second sheet (11) is hung below on the side of the second beam (3) facing the first passageway (2).
