This hoistway pit device has a shock absorber base 1 arranged in a bottom part of a hoistway pit and provided with a shock absorber 6, the guide rail 2 erected on the shock absorber base and guiding an elevator lifting body, an oil receiving plate 3 for receiving the lubricating oil flowing down by going along the guide rail, the oil recovering oil pan 4 arranged in a position corresponding to an oil drain port of the oil receiving plate and storing the drained lubricating oil, and an oil pan pulling-up device 6 arranged on the shock absorber base and lifting the oil pan upward in this side direction by operating in maintenance work.
