Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hold fan duct structure that can prevent an inflow of air (oxygen) into the car deck of an automobile carrier upon fire in the car deck and ventilate the interior by rapid opening after fire extinguishment.SOLUTION: A hold fan duct structure of an automobile carrier provided with COextinction function, having a plurality of car deck layers, consists of: an engagement release means that releases a holding chain 4 by a fire detection signal from a fire detector disposed in each place of the automobile carrier; a damper 1 anchored in place on the chain to close an opening of a hold fan duct 110 under a dead weight by releasing the chain; a sheave that winds up the chain and a motor that rotates it, during the chain release; and the engagement release means that restarts the chain holding when the damper reaches a prescribed height position.
