To mount a camera housing reliably more easily in vehicle.SOLUTION: A holder base part (22) for securing at least one camera housing to a vehicle part of a vehicle comprises at least one retaining element (32, 36). The retaining element (32, 36) has at least one securing section (54). The securing section (54) enables the retaining element (32, 36) to be directly or indirectly secured to the vehicle part. The retaining element (32, 36) has at least one retaining section (56, 58).
