PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably hold a columnar heavy load with an upright posture and to facilitate loading and unloading the columnar heavy load with a relatively small force.SOLUTION: A holder 1 comprises an upper holder part 10 and a lower holder part 50. The upper holder part 10 comprises a band 11 which holds a columnar heavy load so that it does not fall, and is configured to allow the columnar heavy load to be mounted on and removed from the upper holder part by releasing the band. The lower holder part 50 comprises a placement base 51 which has: a bottom plate 52 with which a bottom surface of the columnar heavy load is to be brought into contact; and a guide wall 53 which rises from the bottom plate so as to face an outer peripheral surface of the columnar heavy load. The placement base can be turned between a first position where the bottom plate is substantially parallel with a horizontal plane and a second position where the bottom plate is tilted at a maximum of an angle not larger than 90 degrees with respect to the horizontal plane. With the placement base in the first position, the lower holder part restricts movement in a horizontal direction of the columnar heavy load placed on the placement base.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
