Abstract:

To provide a holder and a cutting tool which allows even a single worker to safely cut a linear object.

The tool body of the tool for cutting the linear object X inserted between a pair of cutting edges 111, 111 by closing the cutting edges, includes the holder 2 having a pair of holding means 22, 22 for holding both sides of the cut part of the linear object X to be cut by the respective cutting edges 111. The respective holding means 22 include: pairs of clamping bodies 221, 222 for clamping the linear member X; and position adjusting means 223 for adjusting the mutual positions of the respective clamping bodies.
