Abstract:
To effectively prevent damage due to falling during transportation of a synthetic resin-based crown-shaped holder for a deep groove ball bearing.SOLUTION: In a crown-shaped holder, a diameter D of a steel ball 4 housed in a pocket 9 is 13 to 18 mm, a wall thickness t from a bottom of the pocket 9 to an end surface on the other side in an axial direction of an annular part 5 is 10 to 20% of the diameter D of the steel ball, an axial length HB of claws 8a, 8b of a corner part 6 is 60 to 80% of the diameter D of the steel ball, and the entire is made of a resin material. When the tensile strength of the resin material is σ, a cross-sectional area A of a portion between the pockets 9 adjacent to each other in a circumferential direction is set within a range of the following relational expression (1): A>(511D-4027)/σ ... (1). As a result, stress generated in an inter-pocket portion due to an impact load at the time of falling becomes smaller than the tensile strength σ of the resin material, and damage due to the falling can be effectively prevented.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
