To provide a holder for a hand tool capable of reliably fixing and storing any hand tool at a desired position by a holding member which is slidable on a rail by improving the defects of a conventional holder for a hand tool.

The holder for the hand tool includes: a body 10 on the front surface of which rails 16, 16 are so installed as to be opposed to each other and which has sliding grooves 14, 14 which are formed in the inner sides of the opposed rails, respectively; a holding member assembly 20 having a left holding member 21 and a right holding member 22 which are slidably installed on the rails, respectively; and a sliding member assembly 30 slidably installed in the sliding grooves and joined to the holding member assembly 20 through joining members.
