To provide a holder for a head-replaceable cutting tool which is manufacturable inexpensively, can be separated and collected, does not cause breakage and chatter vibration since the strength and rigidity are high, and can perform machining with high precision, and to provide a head-replaceable cutting tool.
This holder 1 for a head-replaceable cutting tool constitutes the head-replaceable cutting tool in which a replaceable cutting head 10 with an edge part 11 is detachably fitted to a mounting hole 4. A cylindrical connection member 3 made of a metal material lower in hardness than a holder body 2 is stored in the mounting hole 4 formed in the holder body 2. A recess is formed in the inner peripheral surface of the mounting hole 4. The connection member 3 is engaged with the recess since the outer peripheral surface thereof is fitted closely to the inner peripheral surface of the mounting hole 4. A mounting screw part 3E which is screwed with a head side screw part 13 formed on the replaceable cutting head 10 is formed in the connection member 3.
