To provide a holder for a rod-shaped member, the holder which is suitable for stably holding the rod-shaped members with different outer diameters.

A holder A1 for a rod-shaped member includes a support member 1 and an elastically deformable holding member 2 supported to the support member 1. The holding member 2 has base ends 211 and 221 supported rotatably around axial lines O1 and O2; front edges 213 and 223 including rotating portions 21 and 22 provided to one side with respect to a plane P1 including the axial lines O1 and O2; and a belt 23 connecting the front edges 213 and 223; a holding surface 24 which is directed to the one side in a spontaneous state and continuous from first portions 241 and 242 corresponding to the front edges 213 and 223 to a second portion 243 corresponding to the belt 23, in which when the front edges 213 and 223 are opposed with each other, they hold around a rod-shaped member by means of a holding surface 24, and the first portions 241 and 242 are provided with bulging portions 244 and 245 bulging in a position with a predetermined distance inward from the end portion of the holding surface 24.
