Abstract:
To provide a holder for a rolling bearing in which damage is prevented, and thus reducing abrasion at a contact portion between a bearing ring and the holder or between a rolling body and the holder, and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: A holder 1 is used for an angular contact ball bearing 3 comprising an inner ring 4, an outer ring 5, and a plurality of rolling bodies 6 rolling between the inner ring 4 and the outer ring 5, and holds the rolling bodies 6. The holder 1 is made of an aluminum alloy material, and the aluminum alloy material is an aluminum alloy material in which silicon carbide is present in a dispersed state with an average particle diameter of 0.1 μm or more and less than 10 μm, wherein the silicon carbide contains 5 to 50% by volume of the entire aluminum alloy material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
