PURPOSE: To provide a holding apparatus for a bottle, of which the constitution is simple, which can be easily attached or detached, and in addition which can surely hold a bottle by a method wherein a sliding shaft is screwed in the base part of a chuck made of an elastic body, and of which the tip can be expanded or contracted, and the sliding shaft is axially supported by a rotary holder so as to be slidable.

CONSTITUTION: By pushing in the mouth part of a bottle 8 to a chuck 2, a sliding shaft 4 is pushed up, and an expanded state at the tip of the chuck 2 is contracted to a contracted state by a rotary holder 5, and the bottle 8 is held. As a matter of fact, a ball plunger 10 of the rotary holder 5 is set by a recessed part 9 of the sliding shaft 4 and positioned. When being removed, by pulling down the bottle 8 by an appropriate force, the sliding shaft 4 descends, and the expanding/contracting part at the tip of the chuck 2 becomes the expanded state, and the bottle 8 is removed. Therefore, the holding of the bottle 8 is surely performed, and the attaching/detaching operation is facilitated. Also, since the bottle 8 is attached or detached from the outside, the operation is hygienic, and unnecessary parts are eliminated, and the weight is reduced.
