Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make a device adapted easily to samples different in the outside diameter of arc to give an accurate rotational driving to them, by attaching a pair of sample supporting tools to a revolving shaft so that they cannot be turned around the revolving shaft and can be moved in the axial direction of this shaft and their vise devices face each other.

CONSTITUTION: Slide guides 2 are moved on a revolving shaft 1 in the axial direction to match the interval between two vise devices 15 and 15 to the length of a sample 25, and fixing knobs 6 are tightened to fix slide guides 2 to the revolving shaft 1. Slide bases 3 are moved in the directions of arrows B in accordance with the inside diameter of the arc of the sample 25, and receiving blades 16a are set to positions matched to the inside diameter of the sample 25. Both ends of the sample 25 are put on V blocks 16 of vise devices 15 so that the inside diameter side of the sample 25 is directed toward the revolving shaft 1. The sample 25 is caught between V blocks 16 and vise pieces 17 and is fixed firmly without play at four points, namely, two points of receiving blades 16a and two points of receiving blades 17a. Both ends of the revolving shaft 1 are supported by a rotation driving shaft 22 and a supporting follow-up shaft 23 to drive the rotation driving shaft 22, thus transmitting the rotation without center deflection to the sample 25.
