Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding device for a spectacle lens base material capable of easily holding a spectacle lens base material to be rotated without scratching a lens surface.SOLUTION: The holding device for a spectacle lens base material includes: a frame part 6 surrounding a spectacle lens base material 2; and a plurality of lens pressing parts 7 inside the frame part 6. The frame part 6 is constituted of a first frame body 11 and a second frame body 12. One end 11a of the first frame body 11 is connected to one end 12a of the second frame body 12 so as to be rotated. The other end 11b of the first frame body 11 and the other end 12b of the second frame body 12 are formed such that a connection form and an open form are switched. The lens pressing part 7 has a spring member 21 and a presser 22. The presser 22 is brought into contact with an outer peripheral edge of the spectacle lens base material 2, and the spectacle lens base material 2 is pressed toward the center with the spring force of the spring member 21.
