Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a warp yarn from being damaged due to the dropping of a heald.
SOLUTION: The rotation of a shedding driving motor 28 in one direction under each heald 15 is converted through a crank mechanism into vertical motion of the heald 15. After stopping the weaving, the operation of the shedding driving motor 28 is controlled so as to properly arrange all the warp yarns T on each warp line with a loom controlling computer C1. A loom driving motor M is slowly and normally rotated with a controller C2 for a lowering preventing tension after a leveled state of the warp yarns T and a delivering motor 11 is slowly and reversibly rotated. Thereby, the tension of a woven fabric W is raised. The slow normal rotation of the loom driving motor M and the slow reverse rotation of the delivering motor 11 are stopped with the controller C2 for the lowering preventing tension when the sensed tension obtained from a load cell 25 attains the lowering preventing tension.
