To obtain a holding implement which enhances the efficiency of an outdoor direct weathering test by a method wherein a test piece is sandwiched and held firmly, a test can be made with high accuracy and the test piece is attached and removed easily.
Mobile sandwiching and holding members 7 and stepped mobile sandwiching and holding members 8 which are at right angles to each other are installed inside quadrilateral frames 6, the inside of the frames 6 is divided, sandwiching and holding members 9 which are used to sandwich and hold a test piece 4 are fixed to the frames 6, the mobile sandwiching and holding members 7 and the stepped mobile sandwiching and holding members 8, and two sets of holding implement bodies 10 are formed. The sandwiching and holding members 9 at the holding member bodies 10 are put together and integrated so as to be separable, and a holding implement is formed. Therefore, the outward size of the holding implement is made constant, various test pieces are sandwiched and held in divided parts, test pieces in various sizes are mounted without changing the interval between sample mounting crosspieces, the test pieces are removed easily in the unit of the holding implement, and the efficiency of a test is enhanced. In addition, the test pieces are sandwiched and held firmly by the sandwiching and holding members, the test pieces are held surely, an exposure condition is maintained, and the test can be made with high accuracy.
