To provide a holding member, an installation unit of a heat insulating material, and an installing construction method of the heat insulating material, causing little inclination and dislocation in driving, by holding the heat insulating material in the desired thickness after driving.
This holding member 1 has a cylinder part 2 inserted into the heat insulating material from one end side, and a flange part 6 arranged on the other end side of this cylinder part 2. Weakened parts 12 are composed of a group of holes 4 formed in the circumferential direction, and are arranged in two rows in the longitudinal direction in the vicinity of one end side in the cylinder part 2. This holding member 1 is provided for driving in a state of inserting a driving member 8 inside. In this case, an overhang part 40 is formed in an area between the weakened parts 12 by driving force. Since the overhang part 40 formed in this way serves as a stopper, the heat insulating material 20 is held in the prescribed thickness.
