Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding member and a switch device using the same mainly used for controlling ON/OFF of a stop lamp of a vehicle, which are capable of precisely holding the switch and ensuring a reliable operation.SOLUTION: A holding member 13 is constituted of a holding member 11 having a substantially hollow cylindrical shape and a rotation member 12 having a substantially hollow cylindrical shape which is rotatably attached thereto below the holding member 11. A thread 12C at the inner periphery of the rotation member 12 is screwed with a thread 15B at the outer periphery of a cylindrical portion 15A of a switch 14, and plural projections 11E and concaves 12E are engaged on the inner periphery of the holding member 11 and the outer periphery of the rotation member 12 are engaged with each other to thereby screw the threads 15B and 12C with each other. Since the switch 14 is held by the holding member 13 by means of plural projections 11E and concaves 12E which are engaged with each other, the switch is precisely held ensuring a reliable operation.
