Title:
HOLDING STRUCTURE OF OPHTHALMIC LENS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3447462
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To widen effective visual field and facilitate the production by preventing the rotation of the lenses and lens holding members of a holding structure of ophthalmic lenses applied to spectacles of a rimless type.
SOLUTION: The front end of an endpiece 42 is provided with a stopper 422 formed into a planar form and the surface on the lens side of the stopper 422 is provided with a pin 421. On the other hand, a groove 21 is formed at the marginal surface 2a of the lens 2 and a non-penetrated hole 22 nearly parallel with the front face 2c of the lens is formed on the end face of the groove 21. The pin 421 is fitted and fixed into the hole 22 and the stopper 422 into the groove 21, respectively. The rotation of the lens 2 and the eyepiece 42 with each other is prevented by the stopper 422 of such spectacles. Since the projecting amt. of the stopper 422 is made smaller, the visual field is not hindered.
