PURPOSE: To obtain secure holding of a bumper by holding a hooking rib projected on the bumper between the taper face of the first clip member provided on the side member of a car body and the taper face of the second clip member inserted and hooked in the clip member.

CONSTITUTION: A hooking rib 10 is projected on the backside of the end of a side part Bs of a bumper. On a vertical flange 5a of a holding bracket 5, a hooking hole 6 is opened for inserting a hooking rib 10. The first clip member C1 is inserted and hooked in the hooking rib 10, and provided with an inside taper face 14a. Meanwhile, the second clip member C2 is inserted and hooked in the hole part of the first clip member C1, and also provided with a taper face 20a. By these taper faces 14a and 20a, the hooking rib 10 is expanded and held between. At this stage, a hooking piece 15a of a hooking arm part 15 is hooked on a neck part 19 of the second clip C2.
