Abstract:
PURPOSE: To surely prevent a yielding line in the direction of the periphery from being broken in attaching a container cap to the neck of a container mouth and achieve easy and secure brake in opening the container, by forming a plurality of openings in the bottom of a tamper evident, and disposing a movable support, which has an engaging means on its internal surface, in each opening.
CONSTITUTION: A container cap 2 is attached to a container mouth 40 and twisted tightly, and when passing an engaging jaw 44 made on the periphery of the neck of the mouth 40, an engaging means 38 made on the internal surface of the bottom 16 of a tamper evident is elastically displaced radially outward having its lower end as a turning point. Together with this, a movable support 28 is elastically displaced radially outward having its lower end as a turning point. Therefore, because torque causing rotation for closing which is applied to the container cap 2 may be small, a yielding line 12 in the direction of the periphery is not broken. When the container cap 2 is twisted to open the neck of the container mouth 40, the yielding line 12 easily breaks because the engaging means 38 is engaged with the engaging jaw 44.
