The hole cutting tool for the window glass includes a rod-like handle bar 2, a cylinder 3 provided at the front end of the handle bar 2, and a projection 4 projected from one end 3a in the longitudinal direction of the cylinder 3. One end 3a of the cylinder 3 constitutes a blade which is gradually thinner toward the front end. One end 3a is formed sloping to be located gradually closer to the side of the other end 3c of the cylinder 3 as separating from the projection 4. The projection 4 is formed so that its tip is sharpened.
