Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hole drilling tool that can supply a sufficient quantity of coolant to a guide pad.SOLUTION: A hole drilling tool 1 comprises a tool main body and a guide pad 3. The tool main body has a center shaft, can rotate with the center shaft as a rotation center, includes a part for arranging a cutting blade therein and has a bar-like shape. The guide pad 3 is arranged at a side face 1c extending along the center shaft in the tool main body. On the side face 1c of the tool main body is formed a coolant supplying groove 4 that extends along the guide pad 3 and supplies coolant toward the guide pad 3. The tool main body includes an introducing mechanism that introduces the coolant into the inside of the coolant supplying groove 4. The coolant supplying groove 4 includes a part at which two side walls 4a and 4b opposing to each other at a cross section along a direction perpendicular to the center shaft incline from a bottom part 4c of the coolant supplying groove 4 toward the guide pad 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
