PURPOSE: To prevent the cutting blade of a reamer from lowering in stiffness.
CONSTITUTION: A cutting oil flow-in hole 12 is penetrated through the inside of a shank section 6, and a blade groove 13 is formed in a cutting blade section 7 from its tip end section over to its rear end section. And the cutting blade 7 is coupled in so as to be fixed in the cutting oil flow-in hole 12 of the shank section 6 at its rear end section by means of shrink fit and the like. In a state that it is fixed, the blade groove 13 at the rear end section of the cutting blade 7 is communicated with the cutting oil flow-in hole 12 via a ring shaped recessed section 11. A reamer 5 is held at its shank section 6 in the holding hole 2 of a tool holder 1. In a state that it is held, the cutting oil flow-in holes 12 of the shank section 6 are communicated with a cutting oil outflow hole 4 via a ring shaped recessed section 3.
