PURPOSE: To eliminate the necessary of resetting a drill for each hole by providing a pitch metallic fitting slidably on a rail which slides on a scale.

CONSTITUTION: The tip of the knife part of a drill is set on a position for making a hole by moving a rail 2 and a pitch metallic fitting 3 on a scale 1. A number of rod receiving hole bases 10 corresponding to the number of holes are disposed at intervals necessary for making holes on the lower part of one-side rail 2. When the rod 5 of the pitch metallic fitting 3 is inserted into the rod receiving hole base 10 sequentially, if the rod 5 is moved on the rod receiving hole base 10, while repeating the action of drilling holes by rotating the knife of the drill, holes can be formed on necessary spots on a steel plate, etc. When it is necessary to make holes in a wide range, the rails 2 are mutually connected and the number of scales 1 is increased.
