Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow ball screw shaft and a manufacturing method therefor capable of obtaining high accuracy in both an inside surface of a ball screw groove and a land part and excellent in productivity.
SOLUTION: In a hollow ball screw shaft 1, a ball screw groove 2 and a land part 3 are formed as a rolling surface 4. A cutting groove part 2a of pre-finishing is left in a bottom part of the ball screw groove 2. A plastic flow releasing groove 5 may be arranged in the land part 3. Rolling is performed by a rolling roller after cutting the ball screw groove 2 having a rolling margin 6 in a pipe raw material W.
