Abstract:
To provide a hollow camshaft which suppresses increase in processing man-hour and manufacturing cost, and to provide its manufacturing method.
The hollow camshaft has a hollow shaft part and a cam part integrally formed therewith. In the shaft part, one end is integrally equipped with a mounting part which is solid. The cam part is formed by applying expanding molding to the shaft part. A drive member for transmitting drive force is provided to the mounting part.
