Abstract:
To reduce the noise of a hollow wheel.
When casting a wheel 1 consisting of a hub 2, a spoke 3 and a rim 4, a form metallic core 8 is subjected to an internal chill whereby it is integrated into each inside of the hub 2 and the spoke 3. In consequence, the core 8 occupies a hollow part in the conventional hollow wheel, as a reinforcing member of the wheel 1, since such a cavity part as in the paste does not exist there while lightening the weight similar to the conventional hollow wheel, and reducing resonant noise attributable to the cavity part is prevented from occurring, and thus a vibration proof effect is improved.
