Abstract:
To provide hollow and extra fine cellulosic fiber that is good at lightness, hygroscopic property and feeling and is suitably used for clothing and the like.
The invention provides hollow cellulosic fiber having a single yarn diameter of 10 μm or less and an ester substitution degree less than 0.5, and a method for manufacturing hollow cellulosic fiber in which cellulose fatty acid ester is eluted from core-sheath composite fiber including a core component of cellulose fatty acid ester and a sheath component of cellulose with an ester substitution degree less than 0.5.
