The hollow drum type recorder comprises a hollow drum 5 having an opening 6 in which the body of a hollow arcuate body turns, a transfer sheet 7 being wound around the surface of the body of the hollow arcuate body by means of a transfer sheet roll, and toner sheet feed roll 3 and take-up roll 2 being contained in the hollow drum while having outer holders 221, 231 and inner holders 222, 232, respectively, on the outside and inside of the hollow drum and passing through the opening of the hollow drum to move between holders at two positions. The toner sheet is wound, stripped and discharged by transporting the feed roll or the take-up roll between the inner holder and the outer holder and then turning the hollow drum.
