To provide a hollow fiber membrane with a uniform membrane structure, where rise with time of an albumin sieving coefficient is suppressed, and to provide a blood purifying device incorporating the membrane.
The hollow fiber membrane is deposited from a stock solution containing polymers having the uniform membrane structure, and then, thermally treated at 82C, thereby obtaining the hollow fiber membrane which satisfies the following expression, i.e., SCB-SCA1.1, where SCA is the albumin sieving coefficient (%) after three-day keeping at normal temperature from the point of time of sterilization with rays, and SCB is the albumin sieving coefficient (%) after three-week keeping at normal temperature from the point of time of sterilization with the rays.
