To provide a hollow fiber membrane module demonstrating a function over a long time by sufficiently reducing stress caused by hardening and shrinking of a potting material and suppressing exfoliation of a potting part from a housing case.
In the hollow fiber membrane module wherein a hollow fiber membrane bundle 10 bundling a plurality of hollow fiber membranes 11 is bonded and fixed in the housing case 20 with its end opened by the potting material, a ring-like fixing member 40 for bonding made of a material with a bonding strength of 10 N/mm2 or more to the potting material is disposed with its inner circumference abutting on the outer circumference of the hollow fiber membrane bundle, at a part where the hollow fiber membrane bundle of the housing case 20 is bonded and fixed. In the hollow fiber membrane module 1, the hollow fiber membrane bundle 10 has the hollow fiber membranes evenly distributed inside the fixing member 40 for bonding, and bonded and fixed at the inside and end side of the fixing member 40 for bonding by the potting material.
