Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a hollow fiber type membrane module which is useful for improving the strength of a sealing part and for preventing breakage of the hollow fiber membrane and can be scaled up.
CONSTITUTION: In a hollow fiber type membrane module in which two or more unit filtration elements comprising a' hollow fiber membrane bundle held in a protective cylinder having liquid permeability are contained and at least one end of the unit filtration element is sealed with a resin at the same end of a case, the unit filtration element is divided by a beam arranged on the outside of the protective cylinder and fixed by sealing together with the beam.
