Abstract:
To realize high precision machining of a hollow shaft by machining the hollow shaft dividedly in rough machining stage, set grinding stage and set machining stage.
The method of machining the hollow shaft of an electric rotating machine comprises a first step for boring a first hole 10 through rough machining of the hollow shaft 1, a second step for grinding the circumferential surface 1a with reference to the central hole at the forward end 1A and the rear end 1B, and a third step for machining the end face at the rear end 1B and a second hole 11 with reference to the outer diameter surface.
