Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a structure at low cost by projecting the end part of a first plate more than the end part of a second plate at the end part side, providing a recessed part in the connecting part of a third plate and the first plate and further, arranging the corner part connecting the recessed part with the outer surface of the third plate in the range of the extension line of the thickness of the third plate.
SOLUTION: The tip parts of the lower surface plates 34b, 34b are joined with a rotary body 50 for joining. At this time, hollow shaped materials 31, 32 containing the joining part of the plates 34b, 34b are laid on a bed. The upper surface of the bed at the joining part is flat, and a joint 60 is laid between two hollow shape materials 31, 32. At the time of piling up both ends of the joint 60 on the recessed parts 39, 39, the lower end of the vertical piece 61 has a gap between this lower end and the joined bead of the lower surface plate. A connecting part between the joint 60 and the hollow shape material 31 is friction-joined with the rotary body 50 for joining and also, the connecting part between the joint 60 and the hollow shape material 32, too, is friction-joined with the rotary body 50 for joining. In this way, the joining can be executed from one surface side and the overturning work can be unnecessitated.
